How to a Create Category ?

• To display Products on your website first you have to create Product Category. To create Category, Navigate to Dashboard > In the left side panel you’ll see Products > Categories. Click on Category.
• Add new Product category name and upload thumbnail image here. Click on “Add New Category” Button.
• To edit a pre-existing category, select a category on the right side of the screen.

How to a Create Product ?

• For Products, go to  Product > Add new product. Add your Product name, description, assign the Category and upload a Product image. You can also upload gallery images.

Product data

Scroll down in the product editor page and you’ll see this option. Product Data meta box is where the majority of important data is added for your products. You can choose Simple product, Grouped product, External/Affiliate product and Variable product.

• General section – You can add the pricing – Regular price & Sale Price. If you want to change the shop currency just go to WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency Options and select your desired currency from the Currency drop down.
• Inventory section – You can add SKU id, manage your stock, add the stock status – In stock, Out of stock or On backorder.
• Shipping section – In this section you can add  Weight of the item, Dimensions like Length, width and height for the item and Shipping Class.
• Linked Products section – Here you can add the Upsell products and Cross sell products.
• Attributes section – You can assign details to a product. You will see a select box containing global attribute sets you have created.
• Advanced section – You can add the Purchase note, Menu order and Enable Reviews.
• Short description – You can also add Short description of your product.

 

Mark a product as Featured

If you want mark your product as Featured. Just Go to Products > select the Star in the featured column. You can also select Quick Edit and then the Featured option.
